Give to SBU
Make an Impact...
Thank you for considering a gift to SBU. SBU has a variety of
projects and programs that our alumni and friends generously support.
Below are the most common ways to support SBU students. Looking for
ways to stay connected with SBU? There are many exciting ways for our
alumni and friends to invest in Southwest Baptist University. Here are
some ways to get connected:
Pray for SBU
One of the greatest ways you can support Southwest Baptist
University is through prayer. Our students, faculty, staff and
administration
have a multitude of needs, and we rely on the prayers of our alumni
and friends. Please remember these requests as you pray for SBU:
- Pray for our students, that they will rely on God and make wise decisions while at SBU.
- Pray for the financial needs of the University.
- Pray for the leadership of the University: the administration, faculty and staff.
Ways to Give
The University can accept gifts in the form of cash, securities,
real estate or tangible personal property, life insurance,
and life income plans, including trusts and annuities. If you have
any questions, the staff members of the University Relations team
can discuss which method of giving may best suit your interests.
Consultation with your tax and legal advisors is also recommended.

We will set up reminder plans specifically for gifts over a period of
time.

Gift of Real Estate
Today, a number of those who purchased investment properties
during the real estate boom of the 1980's are tired of the taxes,
maintenance and management
that accompany property ownership. If the same is true for you, why
not consider giving the property to charity? You can avoid the stress
associated with
a sale and ultimately make a more significant gift than the sale
proceeds would have allowed.
