SBU has been recognized for being one of

America’s Best College Scholarships ® for the past six years.
Academic offerings include associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in more than 80 areas of study, including pre-professional programs, business, and nursing as well as liberal arts majors.
About SBU Students
Approximately 3,600 students, including about 850 graduate students, attend classes at SBU on its four campuses. Nearly 1,600 undergraduate students attend classes at the Bolivar campus with more than 1,000 undergraduate students taking classes at the branch campuses.
SBU students are free to express Christian faith and values in the classroom, where they are challenged to pursue academic excellence. Students deepen their faith by living, studying, praying, and playing with students from all walks of life and at all stages in their spiritual journey.
At SBU there are many opportunities to grow as a Christian while exploring interests on and off campus. SBU students go on mission trips, study abroad, travel to academic contests and sporting events, go on musical tours, attend campus Bible studies and Chapel services, or serve in the local community.
SBU students also participate in several academic and extra-curricular organizations including: Enactus, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, forensics, intramural sports, performing groups, Student Association, and the University Activities Council.
